Lutheran Braille Workers produces Braille Bibles in Amharic, Arabic, Burmese, Cantonese, Estonian, French, Indonesian, Kiswahili, Latvian, Malayalam, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, and English Contracted and Un-contracted Braille.
A Grade 2 Bible produced by Lutheran Braille Workers consists of 37 volumes embossed on durable 10x12 quality Braille paper with a production cost of $185 per set. Each Bible takes up 5 feet of shelf space and is lovingly produced by our volunteers. The Bibles are provided free of charge to blind and vision impaired readers throughout the world. In addition to the Bible, LBW also offers a variety of other Christian books and pamphlets in multiple languages.

Growing New Languages
In addition to offering Christian materials in 30 languages, our goal over the next few years is to add three more: Hindi, Russian and Tamil. By offering the Bible in these additional languages, LBW will join other Christian ministries serving people with visual disabilities in the 16 countries these language are spoken. There are more than 35 million people throughout the world who are blind, and it will take a coordinated and comprehensive effort by the whole Christian Church to meet their spiritual needs.
Please keep people who are blind in your prayers, that they, too, will know Jesus!
